A title game rematch is set in Class A, Tolsia advances to The Island in Class AA and Parkersburg returns to Wheeling by knocking off a two-time defending champ.

Parkersburg Big Reds vs. Martinsburg Bulldogs

#1 PARKERSBURG (13-0)
Parkersburg dominated Morgantown 42-14 in a classic showdown of perennial AAA powers in the semifinals. PHS stopped the two-time dfending champs who had won 10 straight playoff games. Big Reds quarterback Andy Thomas and running back Matt Lindamood were again the key players for the Big Reds. Lindamood ran for 193 yards and two touchdowns and Thomas threw for two scores and rushed for two more TD's. Don't forget about fullback Charlie Taylor who is a tremendous inside threat too. And how about that PHS defense! The Big Reds held the mighty Morgantown rushing attack to just 68 yards on 23 rushing plays. In prior playoff games, the Big Reds shut out St. Albans 21-0 in round two after having a close call in a 17-13 win over Cabell Midland in the first round. # 2 MARTINSBURG (12-1)
Bulldogs blew out Fairmont Senior 40-0 in the semi-finals. In teh quarterfinals, Martinsburg limited South Charleston to 118 yards of total offense and five first downs in the second round. Kennedy Award candidate Josh Twyman is a great offensive weapon. MHS: Key wins -- beat Fairmont Senior 40-0 in semi-finals; beat South Charleston 13-2 in quarterfinals; Jefferson, Fort Hill, MD. Key losses -- Urbana, MD.

Tolsia Rebels vs. Wayne Pioneers

#4 TOLSIA (11-2)
An all-Wayne County final! Tolsia won the regular season meeting with Wayne 30-19 on Oct. 13. The Rebels are going to the Class AA title game after knocking off previously unbeaten and No. 1 ranked James Monroe 7-6 in the semi-finals behind the strong running of B.J. Evans. Evans gained 210 yards on 43 carries, earning 14 of the Rebels' 17 first downs in an awesome Class AA showdown. Evans has been a workhorse for the Rebels, gaining over 2,600 yards rushing. The dominant defensive line of Tolsia makes running tough for opponents. In its other playoff games, Tolsia slipped by Bluefield 15-14 in the quarterfinals on Evans' game-winning field goal after the Rebels clobbered Wyoming East 35-8 in the first round. #3 WAYNE (11-2)
Pioneers slip by Grafton 14-7 in semis. Wayne defeated Poca 13-0 in the quarter-finals in the quarterfinals and 19-7 on Oct 20 in a Cardinal Conference regular season contest. Wayne's defense held Poca to 24 yards on 24 carries and just 58 total yards. Justin Gilkerson led the Pioneers with 142 yards on 31 carries The Pioneers handled Roane County easily in round one, 34-8. WHS: Key wins -- Mount View, Poca (2), Roane County. Williamstown Yellow Jackets vs. Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights

#2 WILLIAMSTOWN (13-0)
Williamstown defeated Mount Hope 21-6 in the semi-finals in a battle of two undefeated teams. It will be the third state title game appearance in the last four years for the Yellow Jackets who have yet to claim a Class A championship despite a regular season win streak that dates back to six seasons. Greg Davis had TD runs of 4 yards and 3 yards. Travis Buttrey also scored on a 3-yard TD run for the Yellow Jackets. In prior playoff games, Williamstown pounded Pendleton County 44-14 in the quarterfinals and defeated South Harrison 34-20 in the first round for the second time after knocking them off 38-0 on Sept. 15. The Yellow Jackets didn't waste any time in the quarterfinal win over Pendleton County, as Ryan Flowers returned the opening kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown and Williamstown scored the first four times it had the ball. #1 WHEELING CENTRAL (13-0)
The Maroon Knights smashed Greenbrier West 57-22 in the semi-finals to make a rematch of last season's Class A title game official. The two-time defending champions look to make it a three-peat. The Wheeling Central offense rushed for 357 yards against the Cavaliers while racking up its 18th straight victory. In prior playoff games, the Maroon Knights plastered St. Mary's 42-14 in the quarterfinals and pounded Parkersburg Catholic 62-16 in the first round. The CCHS defense has given up 10 points or less nine times. Quarterback Alex Peluchette and running back Brandon Tucker make quite a one-two punch for Wheeling Central.
